B2B service for collecting, sorting, and valorizing plastic waste from Senegalese companies with integrated CSR reporting and verifiable recycling certificates.
The Problem
Senegalese companies (industries, hotels, supermarkets, restaurants) produce thousands of tonnes of plastic waste per year but have no formal valorization solution. Senegalese plastic law is tightening every year and companies face growing fines. Large international groups established in Senegal have global CSR obligations to reduce waste that they don't know how to meet locally.
The Opportunity
The global plastic waste management market grows at 5% per year. Senegal is tightening its environmental regulations under the Paris Agreement. CSR certifications and sustainability reports have become mandatory for listed companies and their suppliers. RëkëkGreen can sell its valorization data to African carbon credit aggregators.
The Concept
RëkëkGreen offers companies a monthly collection contract: color-coded sorting bins are installed on their premises, collected weekly by RëkëkGreen, sorted at a partner valorization center, and resold to local recyclers. Each company receives a monthly Recycling Certificate with total weight valorized, CO₂ avoided, and a green CSR score. This data is exportable for annual CSR reports. An online dashboard allows real-time tracking of environmental impact.
The "Secret Sauce" (USP)
- Verifiable Recycling Certificate: blockchain-ready proof that waste has been valorized — exactly meets international CSR audit requirements
- Real-time CSR dashboard: the company's sustainability manager has their annual report ready in 1 click — considerable time saving
- Plastic resale finances the service: revenues from resale to recyclers cover 40% of operational cost, enabling a competitive price
