The Problem
Senegalese professionals want to train in concrete skills (advanced Excel, Google Ads, agile project management, data analysis) but available training is either too academic and long (master's, BTS), or imported and disconnected from the African context. Companies struggle to find certifying training for their teams at reasonable rates without sending employees to Europe.
The Opportunity
The continuing professional training market in Senegal is estimated at 50 billion FCFA/year and 70% funded by companies through the FDFP (Professional Training Development Fund). Remote work and digitalization are forcing companies to massively train their teams on digital tools. High-level African experts (consultants, marketing directors, data scientists) can become part-time trainers to supplement their income.
The Concept
MasterClass Dakar organizes intensive 2 to 5-day training sessions led exclusively by African experts currently employed or consulting. Formats are hybrid (in-person in Dakar + online replay access). The catalog covers: digital marketing (Google Ads, Meta), project management (PMP, agile), data analysis (Excel, Power BI, Python introduction), corporate finance, African business law. Trainings are reimbursable by FDFP for Senegalese companies. A digital completion certificate is issued and shareable on LinkedIn.
